Hi There! I have two Shih Tzu dogs, Scrappy, who is a very healthy 9 lb dog, and then I also have Patches, a sweet 19 lb Shih Tzu who has had skin allergies (mainly on his under side) since he was a puppy. Patches is about 6 years old, and Scrappy is almost 3 years old. I am looking for a dog food that is inexpensive as possible, since my husband was laid off his job of 22 years, but I want something that will help Patches and his skin allergies. We have had blood tests done in the past and Patches is allergic to many things among different types of food. He is allergic to Lamb, Carrots, Flax, soybeans, brewers yeast (or maybe it was brewers rice?), milk, etc. I can give you a whole list of what he is allergic to if it would help with a recommendation for food. I would prefer dry food, but wanted to see if you could help me with this six year dilemma..
Thanks so much!
